Yaohan Zhang (born 1998 in Chongqing, China) lives and works in London. Graduated from Goldsmiths, University of London in December 2023 with a MA degree in Design, Expanded Practice, Space and Participation.

 

As a designer, my design vision highlights the exploration of multiple narratives to create immersive spaces that transcend traditional boundaries. Promoting an interdisciplinary perspective, blending cultural, historical and contemporary elements to create experiences that are thought provoking and challenge perceptions. My design thinking aims to generate engagement and dialogue, shaping transformative experiences that deeply move the audience.The work takes the form of performances, workshops, video, community led, material explorations, and translations of visualised experiences.
